A long time ago..
There was a little boy,
Who opened his eyes and saw around him
This world of man.
His eyes were wide with wonder,
And when he saw his mothers smile,
He felt like he was in heaven all over again.
And the two faced world watched in silence.
When it started the little boy never knew,
Time clutched harder than his mothers tightest embrace,
and whisked him away.
The world outside waited biding its time.
Then when the little boy opened his eyes,
The world he saw he didn't recognize.
magically it seemed all around him had changed,
Before he could understand or question,it changed forever.
Around him he found more of his kind,
more lost and confused souls grapplin,
Grappling trying to find what happened to the world they called home.
He found comfort and solace with some, for his mothers eyes and the glimpse of heaven seemed to be fading away.
Nowhere it seemed was anything the same,
Inside of him his body grew and changed and suddenly his thoughts,
Were filled with the scent of first love.
He wondered if this was his destiny and he tried to find.
Find again Heaven in the eyes of this girl,
whose smeel seemed to intoxicate him.
So convinced was he that he could never see,
How this world had a silent playful smile on its lips.
And again the little boy came back to life,
When he saw into those eyes he coveted.
he found nothing but a black abyss,
Seeing through the pain he finally began to understand.
A little late the little boy began to change,
He began to see the world for what it was.
He seemed to find a balance and regained his smile.
The world smiled approvingly at the boy who wasn't little anymore.
The boy seemed to forget the past,
He smiled and he laughed
and so did all around him,
But the clutch of time never let go.
And one day when the boy awoke,
The fear came back, all around him
He saw what he could not recognize
what he could not comprehend.
He seemed to be a stranger in a strange land.
No love and no guidance could he find.
At last he looked beside him
and there he found the little boy of the past.
As he looked amazed at himself,
The world gave him a smile of understanding.
And then the boy understood and found that it wasn't so strange anymore.
The little boy had seen it all before.
And then both the boys walked on to be one with the world at large.

Lament of a Lover

Drops of rain surround me.
As i stand desolate and alone,
feeling the drops as they meet
the tears flowing down my face.
To be alone with my grief
I choose to be,To feel the water
of the heavens to know that i still breathe,
even though my heart seems to beat no more.
Feel differently now,
For where once i had known all the joy in the world,
Now i see around all that, that was once beautiful
and in whose midst now i seem to be left alone to feel all my pain.
I look up to the sky searching the clouds for answers,
The sunlight shimmers then in each drop
As they fall cleansing the earth
Cleansing my soul of all pain.
I realize now the truth,
You may not know, you may not care
but my heart you still keep.
Treacherous it was leaving me for the fairness of thee.
But i can still feel it beat
Right there inside of you where it seeks refuge.
I feel you now on this same earth you are,
the same drops of rain that now fall into your beautiful smile.
A smile so enchanting that it reaches through the sky,
And i see no longer alone i stand.
A million am I
Seeing you through the light of your smile in the drops that fall to your skin.
The wind in your hair
The light of the sun
The flower that blooms just to make you smile again,
In all my essence now is.
For now i follow the beat of my own heart,
Taking me to you
and till it beats till you stand below the same sky, touch the same earth,
I shall be there to feel the beat of my heart,to see the beauty of your smile again.

The untold tale of Akhilles and Briseis
His helm sparkled bright
Silver armor glistening with a mixture,
Rubies red and glistening sweat.
Mighty sword having drunk its fill he stood still.
None could stand in his way,
Those who tried their blood the earth drank,
The sight of him was as beautiful as it was grotesque.
The doom of men he was.
The army roared in anticipation,
He removed his helm and walked over the blood to the last man who stood. A pitiable sight it is to see death stride forward.
The king spoke 'why do you still hold that sword, all that could be lost is lost, your life now has no meaning why should i grant you the death of a hero'
And the last man spoke 'it is said that you are a fair and great king, it is said that you have mercy , then show me that all they say is true. If i can strike down this monster that you unleashed on my men, you shall let me go in peace to my home where my beautiful woman waits and i will submit to ur will'
'So be it' said the king
Then slayer of men spoke ' this man is half dead if he wishes to die so be it. But let us duel like the ancients no armour no shield just a sword and death'
With that he removed his armour and walked to meet his destiny,
He saw her like he remembered her,
Shining black hair and those beautiful big eyes
that seemed to sing to him whenever if saw her.
He remembered it all hiding in the glade to watch her dance.
Remembering the way she sang.
He remembered the day she ran upto to him and said
She had found love.
That day he lost himself to death
And now he would have his redemption.
He looked into the eyes of the man who took her away from him.
He saw defeat in his eyes
As steel struck steel
He saw her ask and he could not deny her anything.
It would be over in a flash
He would lunge and he parry and let his steel roll over his throat letting lose his final cut.
The last warrior lunged
and when he looked up he saw his steel go through
the heart of the man who he thought was death himself.
As he took his last breath through the froth of blood.
He said 'love her'
In disbelief all men present looked on.
And forever it shall be sung
'he loved her and she loved another'
